By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ShambaHub mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). By creating an account or using ShambaHub, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have obtained parental/guardian consent) and possess the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
ShambaHub provides digital agricultural tools, including but not limited to:
Agro-Weather Forecasting: Multi-day forecasts, agricultural advisories, and weather planning tools.
AI Crop Disease Diagnostics (ShambaScan): On-device leaf and crop symptom scanning.
Market & Input Price Guides: Regional market pricing, input price trackers, and local vendor listings.
IMPORTANT: SHAMBAHUB IS AN ADVISORY TOOL ONLY.
AI Crop Diagnostics: Disease scans, pest identifications, and treatment recommendations provided by ShambaHub are generated using artificial intelligence and predictive algorithms. They are provided for general informational purposes only and do not replace professional agronomic, chemical, or agricultural extension advice.
Weather & Market Data: Weather predictions and market commodity prices are aggregated from regional and third-party data providers. While we strive for maximum accuracy, we do not guarantee that real-time weather conditions or market prices will always be exact or up-to-the-minute.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all farming, crop management, chemical application, and financial decisions made on your farm.
To access certain features, you may be required to register an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete registration details.
Maintain the security of your login credentials.
Promptly notify us if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to use ShambaHub lawfully and ethically. You must not:
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or machine learning models of the App.
Use the App to upload false, misleading, or harmful content.
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our servers, APIs, or networks.
Use automated scripts or bots to harvest data from our price guides or weather feeds.
Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all photos, farm data, and text you upload or scan within ShambaHub.
License to Operate: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the App’s services for you.
Anonymized Machine Learning: We may use anonymized, aggregated crop scan images and data (which cannot be linked back to you or your farm) to retrain and improve our AI diagnostic models.
All branding, logos, software, user interface designs, graphics, and proprietary algorithms associated with ShambaHub are the exclusive property of OutsourceXperts and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws in Kenya and internationally.
Billing: Certain premium features or tier subscriptions are billed periodically as indicated in the App prior to purchase.
Payments: Mobile money (e.g., M-Pesa) and digital payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the App settings or your store account prior to the next billing cycle.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OutsourceXperts, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of crop yield, loss of agricultural income, or business interruption arising from:
Your use or inability to use the App.
Inaccuracies in weather forecasts, AI crop disease diagnoses, or market price guides.
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your farm data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to ShambaHub at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the App or its community.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any legal disputes or claims arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We may notify you of any material changes by adding or updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page or by displaying a notification within the App. Your continued use of ShambaHub after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
